How many times can you be wrong about a matter of great importance and still be taken seriously and not be fired?<\/p>\n

Trick question!<\/p>\n

The answer is: you can never be fired for being wrong in the right direction.<\/p>\n

The Experts making statements about how dire the climate is have been wrong for decades, and they are still wrong in their sparkling new\u00a0IPCC Climate Assessment Report 6<\/a>\u00a0released Monday.<\/p>\n

The difference between \u201cAR6\u201d, and ARs 1\u20135, is not so much in the kind of errors made, for these haven\u2019t changed at all, but in the certainty expressed in them. It\u2019s only a slight exaggeration to say that somebody did a \u201cFind & Replace\u201d of every instance of \u201cvery likely\u201d in AR5 and changed them to \u201cvirtually certain\u201d.<\/p>\n

The rhetoric has been amplified, but the mistakes remain. The Experts who write these reports have never lost any authority for their repeated blunders, nor will they be taken any less than seriously for making them again now.<\/p>\n

Because they are always wrong in the direction our rulers want them to be.<\/p>\n

Why Not To Trust Experts<\/h4>\n

Before we come to what that means, I\u2019ll give you the one proof that shows why the climate Experts are wrong.<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t need formal training in thermodynamics to follow this proof. You won\u2019t need to understand the physics of fluid flow. You won\u2019t have to worry about knowing the difference between vorticity and the Coriolis effect. Convective available potential energy can remain a mystery. You won\u2019t even have to know any statistics.<\/p>\n

This is good, because the\u00a0vast<\/em>\u00a0majority who opine about global warming also know nothing about these subjects, even as they assure you that their plan to \u201csave\u201d the planet\u00a0must<\/em>\u00a0be implemented.<\/p>\n

Baby, It\u2019s Cold & Hot Outside<\/h4>\n

The proof is this: ever since global cooling was the consensus in the 1970s, which later turned into the consensus of global warming in the late 1980s, which later turned into the consensus of climate change now,\u00a0all<\/em>\u00a0of the predictions have been of doom. The future is bleak, with no sunshine foreseen.<\/p>\n

The idea in the 1970s was that man-made pollution from burning fossil fuels was going to knock back the sun\u2019s rays, plunging us into a new ice age.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere was going to change because of man. And\u00a0everything<\/em>, every system that the atmosphere touched, was going to suffer. All Experts swore that\u00a0nothing<\/em>\u00a0good could come from the change.<\/p>\n

In the 1980s, when the temperature began to warm in places, the theory changed, but the predictions of doom did not. Now, burning fossil fuels was going to\u00a0trap<\/em>\u00a0the effects of the sun\u2019s rays, casting us into the flames.<\/p>\n

Again, the atmosphere was going to change because of man. Again,\u00a0everything<\/em>\u00a0was going to suffer because of this. Experts said every animal that is cute, photogenic, or delicious was going to die; whereas every beast or plant that bit, stung, or poisoned was going to flourish.<\/p>\n

Mountains of \u201cresearch\u201d was done to \u201cprove\u201d that\u00a0everything<\/em>\u00a0we loved was going to be destroyed, where everything we hated was going to increase. Because of a tenth or so of a degree increase in global mean temperature.<\/p>\n

Politics Overtakes Science<\/h4>\n

My friends, this cannot be. It is impossible that atmospheric change can bring only harm, and cause no good. That Experts insist only evil things can occur is why you can know, without doubt, that they cannot be trusted. Experts, like you, also know that much good can come from a warmer, more carbon-dioxide-rich planet, but the Experts choose to deny these goods because of politics.<\/p>\n

Nothing has changed in the new \u201cguidance\u201d from the UN. Only now they scream about a \u201cred alert\u201d instead of an almost red one. Or whatever color they used last time. Now, as then, they warn that \u201cextremes\u201d are on their way. They haven\u2019t got here yet, but they\u2019re coming. They\u2019re always coming.<\/p>\n

Or they\u00a0have<\/em>\u00a0got here, but you need to have the kind of specialized training mentioned above to recognize them. I have that training and I don\u2019t, because I disagree with the methods used to \u201csee\u201d these mysterious extremes.<\/p>\n

It will take some time to go through the new IPCC report in full. It comes in just shy of 4,000 pages. But for the moment,\u00a0I can leave you with this<\/a>. It is a link to a report written by government Experts 19 years ago that asserted with absolute confidence that \u201cwithin 20\u201d years Britain would be \u201cSiberian\u201d, that mega-droughts, world-wide famine, and even nuclear war would occur.<\/p>\n

Because of a tenth or so of a degree increase in global mean temperature.<\/p>\n
